Each light rig has a custom designed electrical system Figures 1, 2 & 3 are a system with two 175 Watt MV and two 15 Watt UV bulbs. Figure 1 pictures the UV Ballast Enclosure in the right and the start switch and relay enclosure on the left. Once the switch is "Pushed" to start the MV Bulbs, the lights will operated. Should there be a disruption of power the relay will drop out and shut off the MV Lights. To restart the MV bulbs, simply push the start button again. Figure 2 pictures the MV Ballast's, capacitors and wiring scheme.
Figure 4 & 5 picture the enclosures for a system with two 250 Watt or 160 Watt Shelf Ballasted Mercury Vapors. Because there are no magnetic ballast's, the UV electronic ballasts's, MV relays and switches all enclose in a single weather tight enclosures. With out the weight of magnetic ballast for Mercury Vapor bulbs and replacing them with Shelf Ballasted Mercury Vapor bulbs the total weight of the light rig can be reduced by 35%.
